When you are open to the Outside World, when you are moving in it and through it, keep keen your awareness of everything around you. Look at things as you have never looked at them before. Make every moment a meditation. See the cracks in the sidewalk, the leaves on the trees, the petals on the flowers, the faces in the crowd. Practice seeing them all as You.

Being Random Ramblings on the road to Who I Really Am, through Mind Forest to Awareness Fields, and a cordial invitation to anyone who recognises a landmark to sit and sup with me awhile in this little corner of Cyberville Inn, and share their journey from here to Here, from now to Now. Pull up a chair. You're welcome. There'll be dancing later:)

Rise, Shine, For Your Light Is Come
Enlightenment is awakening from the dream of being a separate me to being the universal reality. It’s not an experience or a perception that occurs to a separate person as the result of spiritual practice or cultivated awareness. It doesn’t come and go, and you don’t need to do anything to maintain it. It’s not about being centred or blissful or peaceful or any other experience. In fact, enlightenment is a permanent non-experience that happens to nobody. The separate person is seen through, and you realize that only the supreme, universal reality exists, and that you are that.
The joke is that you are now and have always been what you are seeking. Everybody is already the supreme reality, Buddha-nature, or Christ-consciousness, except that most of us are asleep to this fact.

Hang Loose
Attachment to spiritual things is... just as much an attachment as inordinate love of anything else.

Nothing To See Here. Walk On By.
"At the beginning of the journey, we had boundless energy and made quick progress. But, as we move closer to our core, our hidden beliefs that live in the shadows and secretly call the shots become exposed. They try to convince the ego to bring out the heavy artillery and initiate a take-no-prisoners fight to the finish. What recourse do we have during this dark night of the soul? Let the ego fight. And while it's distracted with its business, let's take every opportunity to go within, to go deeper than ever before, until we're in heaven."

Therefore Love
Love unites, beliefs divide. Therefore love mightily and, if you must, believe. Don't make a habit of it though.
Word
A master like Jesus doesn't teach from a book. He quotes the book only because you value it.

Keep Your Eyes Open
Perfection is not to be without flaws, but to live in the revealing of truth in each and every moment.

Nothing Is Strange
The divine is in the stranger that you come across in the street. It is in the wild animal of the forest. And it is present in the water that you drink, the food that you devour. There is no place or thing that is not the divine. God, spirit, energy are all of it. We are all a fragment of God, and yet we are all of God. There is no part of this delicious cake that you are not, my friend. We belong to all of it because we are all of it. Can you not see the implications of this truth?

In A Glass, Darkly
Horatio:
O day and night, but this is wondrous strange!
Hamlet:
And therefore as a stranger give it welcome.
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Blasphemy
Let your New Spirituality be not the rejection, but the fulfillment, of all that your old religious laws and your ancient prophets have promised you. And when others ask what you are doing, say: Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to abolish them, but to fulfill them.

Higgs Boson Never Fails
If you can define God then your definition is, by...err... definition, false. If 'God' means anything, it is beyond the human mind's capacity, but not the heart's, which wordlessly 'knows'. 'God' is the word we use for 'that which cannot be defined'. It is the essence of existence, without which nothing is. Language gives up here. But the very nature of this 'undefinableness' is Love, and we, and all that is, are unique, ever-evolving expressions of Love.
I 'spose you could call it the Higgs Boson too, if you wanted to, but I prefer Love. A rose by any other name would still be The Ground Of All Being, and it's a darn sight less expensive than the Large Hadron Collider;)
Time for a cuppa...
