The Way Things Are

You are pure consciousness, already awake and liberated.
Stand up and walk out of your dream.
You can do this.

There's something about the "You can do this" line that sounds really sweet somehow :)

Lately I've been standing up and walking out of my dream only to find that I've gone back to the sleep again an hour later. Retriggers of old traumas.

But it's the getting up and continuing on and not losing heart because time is not particulalry linear. What feels like years and years and then suddenly everything changes in an instant :)

It's cosmically sweet, Sue, 'cos it's your true nature - pure consciousness or whatever you like to call it - that 'wakes up'. The little 'mego', with all its traumas, hurts and fears, just dissolves for a while, and stops running the show. It reforms again, but now you can see it for what it is, and it can't fool you quite like that any more. Once your true nature wakes up, even for a fleeting moment, the process is inevitable, and the 'mego' will steadily lose its power.

As Dr Who famously put it, time is this wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff, and linear it ain't;)
