Being, Awake Pt 4

...The truth of your being doesn’t crave happiness; it couldn’t actually care less. It doesn’t crave love, not because you are so full of love, but because it just doesn’t crave love. It’s very simple. It doesn’t seek to be known, regarded highly, or understood. When you’re living what you are in an awakened way, there’s no ideal for you any more. You’ve stepped off the entire cycle of suffering, of becoming; you’re not interested...

You can't crave anything if you are those things already, can you?

I love it when I see someone else doing something I wish to do myself. I look at them and think, "Well, in a way, I am doing it, because they're doing it."

That thought brings me to this space I think Adyashanti is talking about here. There is nothing that needs to be done here except be :)

You're right, Sue. It's a part of the cosmic joke - there never has been any need, any 'problem', but in order to know that fully we have to experience the illusion of needs and problems. There's literally no joy without sorrow. I, the true Self, Am All, experiencing and expressing in infinite variety.

This is quite Cool:)

It is way cool :)

... although, in certain other moods, it can feel unpalatable somehow. Too ... free and flowing, hehe.

Which is really bizarre, but there you go. The rest of the time it's ... like, wow.

PS? The word verification for this comment is "horace". Which was the name of my brother's dog. Quite a good name for a dog, methinks.

Any dog with a name like Horace is uber-Cool. I hope he lived up to his name, Sue.

The One creates the illusion of Another in order to know Its Self. I bet It - I - enjoyed Being Horace;)
