More Mystical Musings...
Love is All That Is.
Fear is All That Is Not.
Love is Being.
Fear is Non-Being.
And so we know Love.
Love is a Word the mind has to use, because it knows not the language of the heart, which is wordless, consisting of the strong, tender motions of the spirit as it moves within, and mingles with, the Spirit.
Jesus is that Word made Flesh, and we are all, with Him, unique expressions of Love. This is All There Is To Know, and all else flows from this. Life consists in re-minding our Selves of this. In this way we become Who We Are.

Oooh, how cool that I am the first commenter on your blog! Yay!!! Love the colours.
I was just singing Butterfly Ball in my head before, while I was pulling weeds in the garden. Do you remember that song, that Ronnie James Dio sang back in the late seventies? It had a really trippy animated cartoon to go with it that I loved as a kid. And that says "Love is all" and I was pondering that while I was pulling weeds. Love has not ruled supreme today. But it is those days I most need to ponder. I need to, as one of the desert father said, (Evagrius I think), in those times break my soul off in two and one part comforts me and reminds me of truth while the other learns to be comforted and brought back to a "right mind" again. It is so good. I feel the Word within me clapping at those times :)
Glad you could drop by, Sue, and you're welcome:) I wasn't much into 'popular' music then, having just discovered Mozart etc., so just looked up that song on UTube, and it had the cartoon with it! Wild 'n' Nutty, and probably created in a state of Altered Consciousness, but I like it;)
Evagrius looks like a cool dude - anyone declared a heretic by a politicised club calling itself 'church' is worth a second look.
I think you've found the secret of Loving Your Self, from what you say (and isn't 'pulling weeds' a great metaphor?:)). I think 'a right mind' is actually the way we really are, but we have to 're-mind' our Selves of that. And it is so Good when we do.
