Great-Grand-Daddy Of Lies

There's nothing more absurd, and yet deceptive and destructive, than an ego that thinks itself enlightened. It is a most curious beast, as it is itself entirely a product of our identification with thought. Something unreal imagines itself to be Reality!

The only way to escape from this creature - which only has the power we give it - is to stop feeding it, step right back, and let it exhaust itself. It then dissolves, and the true self, the One Reality, takes over again. It is always there, of course, just observing this nothingness squirming about in its delusions of existence.

A Good Thought - 'Nirvana' means 'cessation' - ceasing from seeing ourselves as our thoughts. Simple, huh? Yes, but not necessarily easy.

Time for a Transcendental Coffee;)
